Your doctor will recommend this test for you if you have the symptoms of anaemia, or any history of fever.
The Haemogram is a test that analyses the cells that are circulated through your body. Blood consists of 3 components, WBC's, RBC's & Platelets (PLT's). They are all produced in the bone marrow and are released into the blood stream as and when needed. Reticulocytes are immature RBC's. Haemogram is performed using an automated instrument that measures crucial parameters like cell count. Hemogram results helps provide information on cell types & their physical characteristics. It also highlights significant abnormalities in the blood cells if any along with Reticulocyte Count
